Adobe MAX 2026 Preview: Miami Beach Dates, Keynotes and AI Tools
Adobe MAX 2026 runs November 10–12 in Miami Beach. Here are the keynote times, Sneaks, the AI tools already announced and how to watch online.
Key points
- Adobe MAX 2026 takes place November 10–12, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with pre-conference courses on November 8–9.
- The Opening Keynote is on Tuesday, November 10, from 9 to 11 am ET, and the Inspiration Keynote is on Wednesday, November 11, from 10 to 11:30 am ET.
- Sneaks, where Adobe shows experimental technology, runs on November 11 from 5:30 to 7 pm ET and is hosted by Terry Crews.
- Adobe lists more than 200 sessions across seven tracks, and the main events can be followed online.
Adobe MAX 2026, the company’s annual creativity conference, opens in Miami Beach on November 10, 2026, with a two-hour keynote expected to set out Adobe’s next round of AI features for Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and its other Creative Cloud apps. The three-day event at the Miami Beach Convention Center runs until November 12 and is also streamed online. Several new tools have already been previewed, which gives a good idea of where Adobe is heading.
When and where is Adobe MAX 2026?
MAX 2026 runs from Tuesday, November 10, to Thursday, November 12, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Florida. Pre-conference courses take place on November 8 and 9.
The conference is returning to Miami Beach after a year away. It was last held there in 2024 and moved to Los Angeles for 2025. According to RedShark News, last year’s event drew more than 10,000 attendees and over 150 exhibitors.
What is the keynote schedule?
The main stage events, all in Eastern Time, are:
- Opening Keynote: Tuesday, November 10, 9:00–11:00 am. This is where Adobe usually announces its biggest product updates. RedShark News notes that last year’s opener ran for three hours, so the schedule may stretch.
- Inspiration Keynote: Wednesday, November 11, 10:00–11:30 am, focused on creators and their work rather than product launches.
- Sneaks: Wednesday, November 11, 5:30–7:00 pm, hosted by actor Terry Crews. Sneaks is where Adobe engineers show experimental technology that may or may not become a product.
Which AI tools has Adobe already announced?
Adobe introduced several tools ahead of MAX, and more announcements are expected on stage:
- Generative Media Tool in Premiere: first shown at the IBC broadcast show in September, it can fill gaps in an editing timeline with generated clips.
- AI Assistant in After Effects: now in public beta, aimed at helping motion designers work faster.
- AI audio tools: features that separate sound sources in a recording and split overlapping dialogue, which is a common problem for video editors.
- NVIDIA RTX Spark support: coming to Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D. Adobe says it will deliver up to twice as fast AI processing on supported hardware.
The pattern is clear: Adobe is putting AI assistants and generative features into the professional apps people already use, rather than asking them to switch to separate tools. That approach puts it in direct competition with design platforms such as Figma, whose AI agent is now used weekly by most of its large customers, as we reported in our Figma Q3 2026 earnings story.
What sessions are worth watching?
Adobe says MAX offers more than 200 sessions and labs across seven content tracks. In a November 5 blog post, it highlighted a selection, including:
- Craft: “Make It Move: A Designer’s Guide to After Effects” with Luisa Winters; “Small Shifts, Big Impact” on motion design with Nol Honig; “Cut by Ear: Audio Design for Editors” with Vinnie Hobbs; and Lightroom sessions for beginners and advanced users.
- Future of creativity: a panel on “The Rise of the (New) Creative Technologist” featuring Peter Steiner of Code and Theory, and “Chaos as the New Creative Craft” with Emma Chiu of VML Intelligence and Jason Carmel of WPP.
- Creative inspiration: talks from artist Murugiah and designer Adam J. Kurtz on building a creative voice and personal work.
Other speakers listed by RedShark News include Drex Lee, Omar S. Kamara, Hayden Hillier-Smith and Adobe’s Jason Druss.
Why it matters
MAX is Adobe’s biggest annual stage, and what it launches there shapes the tools used by millions of designers, photographers, video editors and marketers. The company is under pressure to show that AI features make its subscriptions more valuable, not less, at a time when new AI-native tools promise to create images and video from a text prompt. How Adobe balances automation with creative control will be the main thing professionals watch.
