Revised PSL 2025 Schedule Starts May 17

So far, Quetta Gladiators are the only team to have secured a playoff berth, topping the points table with 13 points. The remaining playoff race is heating up between Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, and Islamabad United. Meanwhile, Multan Sultans, led by Mohammad Rizwan, are out of the playoff race.
Foreign Player Participation Still Uncertain
Following the conflict, over 43 overseas players were flown out via a military airbase in Rawalpindi. Their return remains uncertain due to international commitments and ongoing safety concerns.

Bangladesh Tour Likely to Be Postponed
Interestingly, the new PSL schedule overlaps with Bangladesh’s scheduled tour of Pakistan, originally set to begin on May 25 with a T20I in Faisalabad. As the final now falls on the same date, sources from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have confirmed that rescheduling discussions are “active and ongoing.”
